Today begins my 30 day Glowelle Beauty Drink Mix Challenge and I couldn’t be more excited.
High in ‘skin-beautifying’ antioxidants (vitamin A, C and E, Lycopene, Grape seed extract, combined with goji berries, green and white tea extracts), this mix promises to neutralize free radicals, fight the signs of aging, nourish and hydrate the inner and outer layers of the skin, and help protect it from within.

Low in calories (50 calories) and made with natural ingredients(no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners), the stick packs can be taken with you to work or to the gym and easily mixed with water (directions: mix one stick pack in 16 fl oz of water) and are really tasty! I’m trying the Natural Raspberry Jasmine flavor and I really like it – not too sweet or too strong. Check back to see how it’s going!

Would you like to try Glowelle and start your own beautiful skin challenge? Leave a comment below with your own tip for a beautiful skin! 1 winner will receive a 14-day supply in two flavors (Natural Raspberry Jasmine and Natural Pomegranate Lychee) as well as a travel Glowelle beauty clutch.

Contest runs from April 24th to May 1st. One entry per contestant. Winner will be notified by email on or around May 4th, 2009.

My favorite beauty tip is 2-3 times a week I take the normal amount of my facial cleanser that I use to wash my face and put it in the palm of my hand. I then add 1 tsp of regular oatmeal to it and mix it together. Then I gently wash my face with this mixture and the oatmeal in with my cleanser gently exfoliates my skin naturally and whisks away all the dead skin so my new fresh skin can glow all day! I have been doing this regularly for months now and it works for me! Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.

It is common sense, but I always use sunscreen, and keep my face clean and moisturized. It’s the best thing for your skin.

I always put lotion on my feet before I put my socks on. In the winter when I have to shovel snow, I put lotion on before I put my gloves on, to keep my hands from drying out. The local salons thank me for it.

I take an inside/out approach to my skin care. In other words, being aware of what I eat or drink and how it supports the underlying tissue structure is the first step. Next, being aware of what I apply to my skin (cleaners, moisturizer, sunscreen, etc.) and how it enhances and protects the outer layers. It’s like, “this is MY skin, and I’m not going to settle for taking out ‘half’ of an insurance policy!” :)

Make sure you stay Hydrated. Wear Sunscreen and if possible use makeup with spf protection in it. You should use slices of cucumber (cooled) on your eyes. It will reduce puffiness.

Be kind to your face: gently clean, nothing harsh, moisturize with a delicate hand, no pulling or smooshing (nice word, eh?), sleep on a soft pillowcase, drink plenty of water and eat well.
