Proud Pleasures: Who know 5 could be so good? Häagen-Dazs Five

I am totally in love with the new natural ice cream flavors from Häagen Dazs. Named Five, this new line has an easy and simple formula: only five simple ingredients to create a natural incredible flavor.The Coffee ice cream (my absolute favorite! and yes, before you ask, I did – gulp!- tried them all!!), for example, is made with only skim milk, cream, sugar, egg yolks, and coffee. The result is heavenly. Rich flavor… smooth texture… you just want to eat the entire container – a possibility, since this simplicity in ingredients has also brought down the calories. There are 7 flavors, including exotic Ginger and Passion Fruit (both excellent!), and all-time favorites such as Vanilla, Chocolate, and Mint. There’s also Brown Sugar – and though I’m crazy for anything involving brown sugar, this one didn’t do it for me.
