So you’ve heard me brag and swoon over Smashbox‘s Spring 2010 collection, Heartbreaker (see my review of their Lip Shine here). The fragrance, the lip shines and gloss, the soft lights and eye liner pen are simply too gorgeous. But I had a chance to play with their eye shadow palettes and all I can say is WOW! The colors work together beautifully to create seductive and stunning looks in mere seconds.
The colors in Hot Date ($34) are beautiful: from left to right creme brulee, shimmering chestnut, champagne, shimmering azure, mint, and warm taupe.
The palette comes with a mini eye shadow blush. I played with the blues and mints and created this nice springy look:
I lined the upper lid with shimmering azure and swept mint all over the lid. I also applied a little warm taupe on the crease.
I also lined the bottom lid with a little shimmering azure and warm taupe, before applying a little mascara. What do you think?
