The makeup gurus at Bobbi Brown kept busy this fashion week in NYC. Wendy Rowe and Kim Soane translated designers Rachel Roy, Eli Tahari, Yigal Azrouel, Tibi, Brian Reyes and J. Mendel’s visions into beautiful (and vastly different!) faces and lips. Here are their best looks and face charts.

1. Wendy Rowe for Rachel Roy.

“A 1930s Egyptian influence weaves together fashion and beauty at the Fall 2010 Rachel Roy Fashion Show. Peacock prints are lifted from feminine silhouettes and translated into bold, beautiful makeup.  Iridescent ”peacock feather” eyes gleam in denim and burgundy metallic shades from brow to lower lash line with a hint of aqua on inner corners, ultimately lined with a black kohl pencil. An even, dewy finish of the skin, softly defined pink cheek, and sheer beige lip allow the eyes to be the star of this show.”

2. Kim Soane for Elie Tahari.

“Tahari’s Fall 2010 collection is all about texture, and the makeup is no exception. Skin is velvety, soft and natural, with a dusting of blush on cheeks.  Bronze and gold shadows are layered on eyes, reflecting metallic hues from the collection. Icy, shimmering lips add the final touch of glamour.”

3. Wendy Rowe for Yigal Azrouel.

“Inspired by a collection rich in texture, the makeup for the Fall 2010 Yigal Azrouel collection is about the texture of the skin. Chic, yet effortless, skin is bronzed with emphasis on cheeks, and eyes are softly defined in beige and brown tones. Nude lips complete a fairly monotone, natural look, with the exception of a strong, linear, defined brow.”

Skin: Hydrating Face Cream ($50), Hydrating Eye Cream ($45), Foundation Stick ($40), Creamy Concealer ($22), Corrector ($22)

Eyes: Suede Long-Wear Cream Shadow ($22) all over lid, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Sepia Ink ($21) applied lightly and smudged on upper and lower lashline

Cheeks: Bronzing Powder ($40)

Lips: Hot Cocoa and Salmon Lip Color ($22 each)

Brows: Clean and brushed up with a touch of Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Sepia Ink ($21)

4. Wendy Rowe for Tibi.

“Unaware of the beauty she possesses, the Tibi woman always exudes disheveled elegance in the most unintentional, yet glamorous way. A fresh, dewy face provides the perfect canvas for showcasing a 60s-inspired “cat eye” with winged liner and dramatically defined lashes. A bit of pink blush on the cheek and a nude lip polish off this soft, youthful look that marries pretty with powerful.”

Skin: Hydrating Face Cream ($50), Hydrating Eye Cream ($45), Skin Foundation ($45), Tinted Eye Brightener ($38)

Eyes: Heather Long-Wear Cream Shadow ($22) and Slate Long-Wear Cream Shadow ($22) on lower-lid, Blonde Eye Shadow ($20) in crease, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink ($22), Perfectly Defined Mascara ($22)

Cheeks: Powder Pink Pot Rouge ($22), Opal Face Highlighter (Fall ’10, Denim and Rose $32)

Brows: Brow Pencil ($20)

5.  Wendy Rowe for Brian Reyes.

“Makeup for the Brian Reyes Fall 2010 collection captures the strength and confidence of the Brian Reyes woman herself.  A fresh face showcases a dramatic eye.  Top lids are glossed with aubergine and the lower lashline is lined with mint green shadow. Skin is clean and matte, and lips are a youthful pink, allowing the eyes to electrify with modern sophistication.”

Skin: Hydrating Face Cream ($50), Hydrating Eye Cream ($45), Foundation PStick ($40), Creamy Concealer ($22), Corrector ($22)

Eyes: Snow Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow ($20), Eggplant Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow ($20), Long-Wear Cream Eye Shadow in Aqua ($22) and Black Plum Kohl Eye Pencil (Black Velvet, Fall ’10, $22) as liner, No Smudge Mascara ($22) on lashes

6. Wendy Rowe for J. Mendel.

“Ultra chic and sophisticated, the makeup for J.Mendel’s Fall 2010 Collection is fresh and youthful. Skin is clean and glowing, but cheekbones are pronounced and structured. Eyes are precisely defined with a thin line on outer corners, mixing drama with innocence. A barely there lip completes the look.”

Eyes: Flesh Eye Shadow ($20), Woodrose Eye Shadow ($20), Slate Eye Shadow ($20), Black Kohl Eye Pencil (Black Velvet, Fall ’10, $22), No Smudge Mascara ($22)

I personally love the look Wendy created for Tibi and will be attempting it at home soon – so stay tuned. In the meantime, what’s your favorite look? Will you be trying any of these at home?
