I must confess that until a few weeks ago I had never heard of Marie Louise Cosmetics. So when the opportunity to test drive their Cleansing Clear Gel ($57) came up, I was a bit skeptical. What if it was awful? What if it made my skin break out? What if it caused my nose to fall out? (yes, these thoughts do cross my mind when confronted with an unknown brand). Well, I am happy to report that not only none of my fears come to be but also that I may have discovered one of the best cleansing gels ever!
Designed to gently remove all debris from skin, Cleansing Clear Gel is meant to be used on dry skin. Just emulsify it in your hands and rub in circular motions to remove even the most stubborn makeup. Rinse it with warm water or wipe it off with a cotton pad. I prefer rinsing it off since it leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling tight and robbed of all of its moisture.
