The summer heat can be very hard on a gal’s makeup: you leave the house looking all pretty and dolled up only to find out that a few minutes outside turn all your hard work into a melting mess. So I’m happy to have added to my arsenal Clarins Everlasting Foundation ($35)!

This foundation promises to stay put for 15 hours without turning into an oily mess or feeling super heavy on the skin – though after about 10, I started noticing some wear. But come on! 10 hours! I never make it through the day without a little touch up so this is a GREAT discovery. It goes on smoothly and dries almost instantly. The amount of coverage is great, and I even use it under my eyes instead of a concealer. The finish is on the matte side, so make sure you add a little shimmer for a bit of a summer glow. And did I mention that there’s a 15 SPF? WIN!

Here’s me (before & after) wearing shade #103 (Ivory)

Because of the formula is a little on the dry side, make sure you wear a good primer underneath it, especially if your skin is dry.

Clarins Everlasting Foundation is available at Clarins.com.

I know! I couldn’t believe how much coverage I got without looking like I was wearing tons of makeup. Are you back?

Hi, I have a question for you!
What is the foundation that matches your skin color? The reason I’m asking is that I can’t find Clarins 103, 104, 105 and 106 in my country, so I need to buy it online.
Also, do you use any of the following, and in case what shade?
    L’Oreal True Match
    Revlon ColorStay
    Revlon Custom Creations
    Yves Saint Laurent Teint Resist
It would help me immensely to know more about this :) Thank you in advance
