A few weeks ago, I was approached by an Australian company who is getting ready to bring their products to the good old USA who wanted to know whether I’d like to try one of their products. Knowing nothing about Australian beauty, I immediately said yes. Boy, am I glad I did! Naive Beauty and its Magnateyes Under Eye Mask (AUD $27/pack of 10) has turned my dark circles into a thing of the past.

Goodbye puffiness, goodbye raccoon eyes! These little guys are so simple to use and yet so effective that I’m amazed people are not starting wars over them. They are made with algae to help bring (and bind) moisture to the skin around the eyes, and collagen, to increase the skin’s ability to retain moisture. Combined, these 2 ingredients turn your puffy, dark skin into a baby’s bottom! Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strip Bronzers ($14.99) are my go to bronzers for a healthy glow that doesn’t give that orange cast that a lot of bronzers do. These contain five colors put together in a compact that you can either wear separately or swirl together for a custom look. In a hurry and need a quick makeup look that’s quick and polished? Don’t have a lot of room in your purse to carry a lot of make products? Then you should definitely check out these babies!

When I need a quick, polished and put together look without a lot of fuss, this is the product I reach for. I use the second and third color down for my lid, the fourth color for my crease, the fifth color for my outer “v” and the first color for my highlight. Add some of the bronzer to my cheeks, and a little on my lips under a clear gloss and I’m good to go. Instead of carrying multiple products in your purse, you can get away with carrying one of these and a mascara!

Now for the thing I love most about them… They are comparable in quality, texture and pigmentation to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, but at $14.99 they’re a lot more affordable! It’s expensive looking makeup without the expensive price tag!

Isn’t it fabulous when you try a product for the first time, and you know it’s love? I have totally fallen for TRESemme Naturals Low-Sulfate Moisture Shampoo ($6, 25oz).

Let’s talk sulfates, ladies! There’s much debate in the beauty community on if you should treat sulfates like acid and steer clear, or if they’re necessary to get your hair squeaky clean. Here’s the deal: sulfates can be harsh on your hair, especially if you’re washing daily. They’re known for stripping color-treated treated hair and making it look faded. But! If you’re a silicone lover, like me, or just a styling product junkie, sulfates are great for getting all the gunk off of your hair and removing buildup.

Drugstore Scores! Calgon Rejuvenating Epsom Salts

I know this is going to sound crazy but until a few weeks ago I had never tried Epsom salts. I’m not really sure why – I think something about it made me think of my grandmother and oldwives tales. Boy have I been missing out. Now, whenever I take a shower, I have been bypassing my expansive bath salts and indulging in Calgon‘s new Rejuvenating Epsom Salts.

Obsession of the Moment: Olive Owl Organics Yoga Mat Spray

For my introduction to L’Oreal’s High Intensity Pigment Shadow Duos, I tried #806 Gilded and #906 Platinum. Each shadow duo contains a gorgeous metallic shadow that’s expertly paired with a matte glitter-infused shadow. I have to tell you, as pretty as the shadows looked in the pot, I was doubtful that they would translate onto skin looking so vibrant. Well, let me tell you, they do!
